A separate municipality with six distinct neighbourhoods.
The City of Langley is a separate municipality from the Township of Langley. Property types, density, services, bylaws, taxes and community character can differ between the two, so it matters which one a listing sits in.
Langley City officially identifies six neighbourhoods: Nicomekl, Douglas, Simonds, Blacklock, Alice Brown and Uplands. The central neighbourhoods carry most of the condominium and townhome inventory; the southern ones are largely detached homes on established streets.
Each neighbourhood has its own page below. Across all of them, buyers should compare building or home age, strata finances where they apply, parking, property condition and the development planned around the property.
